What are the characteristics of capacitors?

capacitors is actually a circuit component in which an insulating medium exists between two metal plates. Its unit is Farah and the symbol is F. The capacitor uses the electric field between the two conductors to store energy. The two conductors carry the same amount of charge, but the signs are opposite.
The capacitor consists of two electrodes. The two electrodes store the same magnitude of charge and the opposite sign. The electrode itself is a conductor, and the two electrodes are separated by an insulating metal called an insulator (or dielectric).
This kind of metal sheet is usually made of aluminum sheet or aluminum foil. If alumina is used as the medium, it is an electrolytic capacitor. The charge is stored on the surface of the electrode, close to the dielectric. Since the two electrodes store the same amount of charge and the opposite sign, the capacitor remains electrically neutral.
